GEHAMS Is Not A Model Railroad Store.
We Do Not Sell, Buy Or Service Model Trains.
GEHAMS is a 501(c3) organization for the purpose of promoting the history and operations of railroads in Kern County through model railroading .
We do accept donations of model railroad items which can be reported for tax purposes.
WE CAN NOT ACCEPT DONATED MODEL RAILROAD LAYOUTS DUE TO STORAGE ISSUES .

A Derailment-Free Rolling Stock Clinic Presedes The Open House. Everyone Welcome To Attend This Clinic.
10:15 AM- 10:45 AM
Open House 10:45 AM - 1:00
Watch trains operate over our HO scale, N scale and LEGO layouts. No Charge. Free To Public.
LAST OPEN HOUSE BEFORE WE SHUT DOWN FOR THE SUMMER MONTHS UNTIL SEPTEMBER 26
Before the Open House, at 10:15 AM, on the HO layout floor, GEHAMS President, Bill Vaughn, will be presenting a hands-on clinic about getting your rolling stock (box cars, flat cars, passenger cars, etc. ) to run better. So, if you want to learn how to have derailment-free trains, be sure to show up at the GEHAMS Clubhouse, around 10:10 AM, for the start of the Better Running Trains Clinic, which starts at 10:15 AM, just before the Open House. The clinic will be approximately 20-minutes in length.

GEHAMS Student Member, Connor Bergquist, is learning how to 3D print, so I was able to snag him into 3D printing the Bakersfield Sign for the GEHAMS N Sale layout. I finally got around to painting it and the sign is now situated on the GEHAMS N scale layout. Not the best paint job, but like us N scalers say, "It will look just fine from 3-feet away!" Now just need to get some 3D printed N scale figures of Buck Owens and Dwight Yokam!
